Jewish American Heritage Month speakers, Hurricane, and Fiddlehead

Hello!

Want to know what Fiddleheads (a plant!) and hurricanes have to do with Jewish American Heritage Month?
I'm a little late for April Fool's Day - but the answer is "Nothing that I'm aware of!" - except that they both landed in this email. ;)

(I know....you're quietly telling me to keep my day job and skip the humor. LOL! So back to that...)

I read two very cool articles this week - one on fiddleheads and the other related to a hurricane. Check them out here:

1) Have you eaten fiddleheads? I have! They're delicious - and very seasonal. Learn all about them here with speaker Chef Alan Bergo, the Forager Chef! (You can learn more about Chef Alan's talks here.)

2) James Beard award winner, Chef and speaker Meherwan Irani, talks about his restaurant and community recovering from Hurricane Helene here. Cue your tissues - it is deeply moving. (You can learn more about Chef Irani's talks here.)

3) May is Jewish American Heritage Month. We're grateful to have one of the TOP Jewish American speakers - and yes, he's a 2x James Beard award winner - for this celebration! Learn more about Michael Twitty's talks on KosherSoul and other Jewish topics here.

HIT reply and share some fascinating articles that you've come across this week. I promise to read them and reply directly to you!
Gratefully,

Missy

Do you think about how to harness the power of AI, yet still take the best of what humans have to offer to craft an ideal interaction with customers? If so, you'll be excited to hear that we have a new AI talk for you...

I'm surely excited about Women's History Month! Women’s History Month is an annual observance in March to recognize the accomplishments, contributions, and historical significance of women. It also encourages reflection on the progress made in gender equality while acknowledging the ongoing challenges women face worldwide. Good news! We are highlighting four speakers for this month's celebration. We have added a new talk to recognize that 47% of women in the US workforce are mothers (who...

Colleagues and friends, The election likely resulted in some employees in your company feeling scared and vulnerable. The reality is that whether you or your employer are satisfied with the results of the election, some of your employees are terrified for their human rights as people of color, LGBTQIA+, people of faith, and other identifications. Some are worried about their rights to healthcare. Some are simply feeling unsure of what to expect next. And while this is not meant to be a...
